1. Giant Clay Flower Pot

If you want to get away from the ordinary, you can switch from using ceramic pots to clay pots. Choosing big pot will be a good detail for your porch, but being grey and dull won’t make a good difference, unless you pick the right flowers. For this, you can go for pretty pink or any other vibrant colored – flowers, such as azaleas, roses or carnations.

2. Succulent Planters

Many people choose flowers when it comes to decorating their gardens – roses, peonies, daffodils, you name it. However, having succulents in front of your home can be a nice thing as well. We’re ready for greenery, warm winds, and flowers everywhere! Luckily for us, flowers are an awesome tool for crafts and DIY projects, meaning we can enjoy them all spring in more ways then just cut at the stem and blooming from a vase. In fact, we love preserving their beauty so much that we usually press flowers every spring. Deciding what to do with them after, however, is the real key.

1. Pressed flower necklace pendant

If you’ve ever worked with customizable lockets and jewelry pieces then you already know how much fun it can be to create your own pattern and design in the centre. Many people use the gems and trinkets made by the company they bought their locket from to fill the insides but we always like searching for inspiration that helps us get a little more creative. That’s why we love the way All Things With Purpose preserved a piece of dried flower petal in this little window locket; the detail you can see in petal is breathtaking. `

2. Pressed flower luminaries

Luminaries have always been one of our favourite things to make. No matter what style, shape, or colour you use for yours, they always look completely gorgeous the second they’re lit up and glowing. Amazing DIY Mason Jars Flower Pots

The advantage of using jars as pots is that they are small and can be transported easily from the indoor space to the outdoor and you can always create several pots for all your flowers, as the jars are not a big investment.

You will most probably find some jars at home, such as those from bottled fruit or jams, so you can even recycle these.

To decorate the jars can use ropes or you can paint them using spray paint or glue natural stones and shells on the side of the jar.

DIY Flower Pot Using A Rim

To make this artistic and chic piece of outdoor decoration, you will need:

• an old rim;
• a can of black paint;
• broken pieces of tile;
• (optional) beads; • brown piece of felt;
• clay;
• fertile soil;

First, make sure you clean any rust off the wheel and prepare it for painting. Apply a nice coat of black pain on its entire surface. Next, take a small cutter on the (broken) pieces of tile and fashion them into little chunks which will go nicely in a pattern. When you are satisfied with the model you’ve prepared on the side move to the next step. Apply a layer of clay on the outside of the wheel. Before it begins to dry, place the tile pattern. After the pieces are lodged into position, meaning the clay has dried a bit, remove any excess with a wet cloth. Then, put the piece of felt inside the wheel, pour the soil and plant your flowers. When you think this was just an old wheel, it looks amazing!

Now that you have some gorgeous faux flowers made, what can you do with them? Here’s one of our favourite ideas that’s perfect for the last few warm summer nights we have left in the season!
